I don’t mean to be harsh here, and I know from first hand experience that it isn’t easy making a ‘modern’ web site with Ajax and even bad 2006 Web 2.0 glossy graphics, but picturepostbox is more of a throwback to about 2001.
What a nonsense description, too. There are no comments, no tags, no camera details, no locations, no way to track favourite photographers, etc… so where is the community?

Picture Postbox is still a relatively new website and largely in development. A lack of features is to be expected at this stage I think.
While the site doesn’t use Ajax, Flash, or even Javascript, it does make excellent use of server side scripting and has been designed with accessibility in mind.

Thanks for the quick response, Richard, and I look forward to the new features over time. I see that even since I posted my first comment that as of the 14th “Members can now leave comments on images”.
