Gazelle.com (recycle your used electronics and gadgets and get paid to be green.)
sell your old cell phones, mp3 players, laptops, or other gadgets to Gazelle, they will send you a box for the item and pay for shipping and if your gadget is still working, send you the money, a win for you and the environment.

Gosh, I was really excited about this concept. Unfortunately, after trying them, all I can say is:
BEWARE OF GAZELLE!
I shipped them my camcorder, in mint condition, and after three weeks of processing, they claimed it had “a broken door hinge” and will recycle it for me (for free), reneging on their original offer. It was working perfectly when it left my door, and they broke it (either through shipping or handling). I’m glad I took pictures of the unit before to prove this.
So either they don’t have their act together, or they’re a tried and true scam.

@Bryan yeah, sorry to here about that, hopefully it was just a genuine mistake on their part, and not a part of a plan to scam people.
